Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Rs 15,000 toolkit incentive a loan?

No. The toolkit incentive is a one-time grant of Rs 15,000. It does not need to be repaid. You receive modern tools relevant to your trade after completing basic training and skill verification.

How is the training stipend paid?

The training stipend of Rs 500 per day is paid directly to the artisan's bank account for each day of training attended. Basic training is 5-7 days (40 hours), and optional advanced training is up to 15 days (120 hours).

How much can I earn from the digital transaction incentive?

You receive Rs 1 per digital transaction, up to a maximum of 100 transactions per month. So the maximum is Rs 100/month or Rs 1,200/year. This incentivizes digital payments over cash transactions.

Are there any costs to join PM Vishwakarma?

No. Registration is completely free. There are no application fees, no collateral, and no credit guarantee fees. The only cost is your time for training. All monetary benefits flow to you.
